DIY Marbled Candle Holder

Hello.

I love candles! They are a romantic and aromatic essential in every home :) I actually have quite a few candle DIY projects in store for readers over the next several days.

Here, I'm showing you how to make a DIY marbled candle holder.

I've seen this around the internet tons of times and have always wanted to try it. Turns out I had everything on hand :)

What you'll need for this project:

a small vase or jar
couple of different spray paint colors
clear spray paint
tea light
decorative sand
disposable bowl

This is so simple, you'll want to marble everything. It is also very cheap. I already had everything on hand but a mason jar, tea lights and decor sand can be found at Dollar Tree for $1 each ;)

Gather your supplies and move outside, to a well ventilated area. Fill the bowl with water to just below the rim. Spray the water surface with the paint, alternating colors.

Working quickly, carefully dip the jar into the paint and water, and then gently lift out. The paint on the surface of the water will adhere to the jar.

Let dry for about 15 minutes.

Then give it a quick coat of clear spray paint. Let dry completely.

Once dry add some stems for a cute and colorful vase.

Or add some decorative sand and a tea light.

Enjoy.

xoxo
